Emerald Gymnastics 2025 Prize Giving

Emerald Gymnastics Club recently hosted its much-anticipated Annual Prize Giving Ceremony, a heart-warming event celebrating the dedication, growth, and achievements of its gymnasts throughout the season. The ceremony brought together parents, coaches, and young athletes to reflect on a year filled with determination, perseverance, and inspiring accomplishments.

The event highlighted not only competitive success but also personal development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each gymnast was recognised for their commitment to training, positive attitude, and courage to push beyond their limits. From beginners taking their first steps on the mat to advanced gymnasts mastering complex routines, every athlete had a moment to shine.

Special Awards and Winners

Special awards were presented to gymnasts who demonstrated outstanding flexibility, strength, teamwork, improvement, and overall excellence. These awards symbolise more than medals and trophies — they reflect the club’s values: discipline, confidence, resilience, and respect.

  • Best Commitment Award: Palesa
  • Brave Little Gymnast Award: Warona
  • Spirit of Emerald Gymnast Award: Boitshoko
  • Strength and Flexibility Award: Irene
  • Positive Attitude Award: Ntsika (also won a special prize through the Emerald Raffle)

Messages from Leadership

Head Coach and Founder, Jennifer Mdluli, thanked parents for their unwavering support and gymnasts for trusting the process and believing in themselves. She emphasised that the club’s mission is not only to produce great gymnasts but also to nurture strong, confident young leaders.

Coach Thando, who specialises in coaching the little ones, expressed her pride in helping young gymnasts develop skills, confidence, and a love for gymnastics from an early age.

Emerald Gymnastics Club also extends heartfelt gratitude to the Jabulani Safe Hub family and all parents for their ongoing support. Their partnership is vital to the success and confidence of every gymnast.

Looking Ahead

The club is excited for the 2026 season, with gymnasts participating in club and official competitions. Applications for 2026 are now open, welcoming new members to join the growing Emerald gymnastics family.
